Major site update coming soon. I've spent most of my summer in Detroit on a groovy pirate adventure, as is probably obvious by the locations on the front page. To avoid confusion, the Detroit locations will get their own website when the new version of Gallery comes out.

Urban exploration (often shortened as urbex or UE) is the examination of the normally unseen or off-limits parts of human civilization.

This website dedicated to documenting and preserving the abandoned ruins of Ohio and elsewhere in the world by means of photography.

Under no circumstances does this site condone illegal activity. The authors believe that the best way to enjoy abandoned America is with the permission of the owners of the property you are on.
